Switzerland seems a real progressive type who looks a tad more forward than this grade. Maps to control proceedings and is the one I’ll play at the price.
A drying Kilmore track here today should not face this progressive gelding. The Kilmore track bias will aid as he maps to lead from 7, the claim from Thompson a bonus.
This gelding has the map of the race and will be doing no work in behind a genuine speed. A competitive race is expected with the fav, just think with an ideal setup and a better price it’s the bet I’m having.
Has trialled very smartly for the Freedman camp and looks well placed in this super maiden. Will of course gain experience from first race meet but looks a ready made type!
This galloper looks very well placed in a weak Northampton maiden, moved well in her trials and comes from a respectable yard in terms of maiden runners. Overs for me and happy to take the punt!
Late call but this girl just has a great setup here sharply dropping in grade. Zac Lloyd onboard is only a positive choice, should be running a big race!
In this small field I feel this smart filly is over the odds. Super impressive on debut track and trip, went away and trialled the house down for this event. Seems to have further matured and looks a great winning hope!
Jump and run tactics will be on full display here! This Edwards trained mare loves to tough it out on speed and will be in this race for a long way.
Very keen on this lightly raced gallopers chances, second up here after an encouraging first up performance. Gets out to just north of a mile here and should be in the finish. Has a unique Ipswich heavy track win to its name.
Love the prospects of this lightly raced type. Was excellent first-up at Bendigo, eased down at the finish and now looks suited out in trip. Hasn’t had many looks on top of the ground but should definitely be well suited.
Very green on debut and just struggled to put the race away. Maps well here and a short drop in trip looks advantageous.
Found a weak maiden, a great kick off point for this filly. Maps for a nice run after a superb trial, one to follow!
Comes here third-up after a what seem to be some fair time up runs. 1500m still short of his best but he loves Hawkesbury and can run a bold race in this small field. Lloyd takes the reins and I couldn’t imagine him sitting too far off the speed here, can have a big say.
Seems fair value in a race that doesn’t seem too far out of his reach. Was fair to the line last start at Goldy, maps very well from barrier 3 in this contest, getting the coveted inside lanes of this Ipswich track.
Race fit Gollan runner who comes here with a substantial drop in grade, acquires Mc Colm’s 3kg claim and looks well placed in this contest. Think he will sit much closer today in this small field, relevant to the Ipswich track pattern.
Incredibly unlucky last start track and trip, has a strong chance to flip the narrow defeat here today. Is a quality low benchmark miler and maps for a similar run.
Was excellent breaking the Maiden here last start, this grade isn’t much better. Maps for a similar on speed showing and with Johnny Allen onboard will be given every possible chance.
This track and trip winner also hasn’t had many races run to suit and I believe with the right tactics can run a bold race. Aided by the 3kg claim, if the horse can apply jump and run tactics which has been the right recipe in the past, could present as nice value!
Really keen on the prospects of Sugar Schnapps here who has had a few races not run to suit and finds a winnable one here. A horse that should be suited by the Kilmore track pattern and has been ticking along well for the Hayes boys. Rated $3.20.
A number of factors lead to Ninyo landing on top. Significantly drops in grade and gets back out to a trip which is vital. Aided significantly by the 3kg claim and a track with a little bit of give, can only see her running a competitive race!
Tracked into the race like a winner on debut and was just found wanting late, held on for second and should come on a lot from race experience. Drawn to effect and will most likely be met with further support.
Cracking super maiden this, have landed in the camp of the first starter Revolina who has been extremely well educated and hard held at the trials. Forward showing expected!
Was strong to the line in a Caulfield Heath maiden, got back and had to do it tough running on. Closed well enough into second and finds a winnable maiden. Although drawn wide I hope the field is light on scratchings - more then happy with a wide gate - should run on strong again
Think this bloke is enormous value here. Meets some lightly raced runners who may turn out to be handy, but I’m willing to take that theory on. After an encouraging performance last start, he looks the back-able price.
This lightly raced filly gets in really nicely here at the weights, maps to lead from a wide draw and finds a winnable affair. Took on some pretty deep 2yo races after a nice debut win, has been met with early support and will be aided by the Kilmore track pattern.
This mare gets her chance to break the duck here under Johnny Allen, the map is kind from one and will most likely possy up just behind the speed. Fitter now third-up and presents as better value then the odds on pop out of the Ryan yard.
Don’t think the fav Dirty Diana will be disgraced first time on good ground, but this gallopers setup Midnight Devil hasn’t seen a level this low in a long time, maps to lead down in trip and will be giving the field something to catch.
Aubaine has had such a consistent prep and looks well placed here. Wasn’t disgraced sitting wide at the mile last prep, gets the favours today from barrier 4. Maps to lead which which we know is very advantageous at Moe, looks a good bet.
Has beaten key rivals and maps well on the rail, carried weight to victory on numerous occasions and is a track/trip master. A backable price here today!
On-pace runner who is tough as nails, afforded a nice 3kg claim for this contest and has the pace to cross the runners to his inside. Handles all conditions and is well placed third-up!
