Australian racing analysis, heavy focus on feature races and meetings.
TTL Racing has not posted today.
Strong form prior to a decent break including a Champion Fillies third behind Pure Excess and Talkanco she steps out over 1200 where she is 2/2. Won't be as far back from the gate, trial shows she's come back super, not much depth in this, look for her launching late.
Jeez this is a weak race, think BEA has stacks of potential and his only defeat was in a stronger race in Melbourne on a heavy deck. Two nice trials to lead in, hard to knock.
Forgive him for LS just like we did when he won the Chelmsford post the Winx. Sydney is his place to be, Rosehill is his favourite track and this distance range is his cup of tea. Beat Attrition in this last year and can see the same happening, has a perfect map and a good track.
Don't have to be a genius to tip one at these odds, she looks a good thing and rightly so. Was super impressive in the Makybe Diva LS and she will be even better here, 2000 no issue for mine her change up speed on the turn will put them away.
Great to see him back going for eight straight. Won two G1's and a Quokka beating his main rival here during the streak and will have all the map favours. 5/15 at Caulfield and 4/9 first up, best of the day in Melbourne and should be winning.
Interesting setup for Like Clockwork, 1200 back to 1000. Keen to take her on here as BH looks a weapon, he will sit back let them roll along and have last crack. Won his last three in great style and they don't trial much better coming in, should be fav.
They didn't know LS when these two mares went head to head and I'm tipping the same to happen tomorrow. Now 3/3 track and trip, more company and pressure up front this time round for Bridal Waltz and MZ was soft on PB last 50. Surprised she's not fav this time.
Unlucky first up not to win, held up in the straight and just couldn't get the nose down. Will be coming late again here but appreciates the speed on and will get that and extra 100m could be the difference maker.
Thought I'd be actually post some tips on here, looks well placed here. Maps ahead of his main rivals, has had two nice looking jumpout wins prior to this prep and finally strikes a good track for the first time since 3.
His last two runs he is slowly getting back to his level prior to the spell. Looks to be decent tempo in the race which suits and track is drying which is a massive tick and under 1L behind Pinhole and Starzintheireyes LS, they'd be odds on in this.
The other Friday bet I'm taking, think this race is easier for him now with Yauson out. He loomed up LS and looked like he was going to go straight past them before Emperor Tzu kicked back and he has won since. Back to 1600 should suit.
Took $3 and was keen on him prior to the scratching of Over The bridge which has decimated the price, but think he's got plenty of talent. Debut win over 1300 at Hawkesbury was phenomenal and he still has plenty to learn, should kick us off nice and early.
Only the one bet today, Waller gelding stepping up to the 2000 first time after running the 2nd fastest L200 latest behind a handy one. Bred very well out of a dual Oaks winner and this is much weaker than last time.
Electric first up win in maiden at Gosford, running fastest L200 for the meeting. Form around him last prep is elite for a midweek including a .2L second to St Gotthard. Will be second half of the field but pace will be on.
Surprised about difference between the two at the top of the market. This bloke resumes, finds a weak race and Jefferson Tsang is the apprentice to have on board in WA at the moment. Fav will be involved in a speed battle up top and he will launch late
Finds a very weak maiden, form around him last prep was good with a third behind Tarzing and two pretty decent maidens. SP profile is smart for this and has jumped out well.
Second short but sweet one today. Lightly raced by Dundeel who has hit the line well looking for further both starts so far, rise to 1600 today massive tick for him and the blinkers go on. Not much speed so from 4 can settle closer and the Bullock/Messara combo is deadly midweek
Looks a two horse race, wary of the Meech/Dabernig combo. On the home track for L. Smith, goes up 4kg but down in class, ran good time beating Karren (great first start rating) latest, rise to 1200 suits.
Returns for second prep, form in first preparation clearly the best for this. 3 starts 1400 for one second and two fourths behind horses such as Blind Raise, Profligate and Hydrobomb. Three nice jump outs, should get the maiden out of the way here.
First starter who has had two nice trials, went to the line hard held from the back of the field latest. Gets 54 with the 3kg claim and think Silver Dream is under the odds giving a better price on our selection.
